The importance of parenting.
Kipland ?Kip? Kinkel was fifteen years old when his violent ways achieved their climax. On the night of May 24th Kip Kinkel killed both his parents. The next day, he drove his parents? car to school, and opened fire at his schoolmates while they were in the cafeteria. He killed two and wounded another twenty-two before he was brought down by his classmates; this was the outcome of an entire life of deceptions, problems and misunderstanding. Parents should know all the facts in their children?s lives, which may develop into dangerous issues. In this case, Kip?s parents were never able to communicate and understand Kip. They should have paid extremely close attention to every aspect of their son?s life to avoid such an outcome. Bill and Faith (Kip?s parents) are the ones to be blamed in this situation, for they were never able to admit their son needed more help than they thought. Parents should know how their kids think, and how they are living. What kind of things they are interested in, and what is wrong with them. With this knowledge cases like Kip?s could be avoided.
